Stephen and Kaye Richards supplied the following report on the 2019 NHMA National Rally held in Murray Bridge, South Australia. They made the long trek from Swifts Creek with two tractors, a huge effort!
"We
had a great weekend, although
only 4 tractors our G and B protype IB from Norm swinford's book and also
Heather & Robert Uphill SA had a styled WF and U.
There
was another WF in the tractor pull from VicWe also were assisted by 2 other couples from Qld one from Toowoomba , Downs Club & other from Kingaory Qld club which meant that the display was always manned with someone ready to talk to people about tractors on display, registering of tractors etc.
The IB prototype certainly created interest as did the U which attracted many as it was a common tractor that many at the rally had had in the family when they were younger.
We had on display the AC material quilts, AC banner and the AC spinner( could have sold it many times over) tractor( in photo) plus information about where to find serial numbers or parts for their restorations of AC's.
The Allis Convoy from Swifts Creek passing through Echuca, Vic.
