Registry Insight- Model A

Two Model A's above are at the Wheatlands Museum in Warracknabeal, s/no's 25881 & 26020 

The Model A replaced the Model E in 1936 with a carryover engine and serial numbers continuing on from the Model E. Everything else about the tractor was new, including a 4 speed transmission rather than a 2 speed found in the Model E. The engine measured 460 Cubic Inches and was rated at 33 drawbar hp and 44-belt hp at 1000rpm. This was later increased to 39.7 drawbar hp and 51.2-belt hp.
