Registry Insight- D270
The Model D270 was a restyled Model B built at Allis Chalmers' new Essendine Plant in the United Kingdom. The D270 was introduced in 1954 and production finished in 1957 with the introduction of the D272. Power was still provided by the 125 Cubic Inch Allis Chalmers engine from the Model B.
Sadly no production records are known for this model at the time of writing, if you know of or have any I would love to share them. Below is a list of the currently known D270 models here in Australia. If you own one or know of any please let us know. A registration form can be found here.

Hi I did register my is 1957 at a guess, d270 engine number 715130 it is located in Brisbane north,Queensland. I think the serial number is AEH89142, can it be updated please. Cheers, Dave.

The D270 diesel and petrol tractors were built from 1955 to 1957. The serial number list that I have lists serial numbers for 1955 starting from 15... Serial numbers for 1956 starting from 16... Serial numbers for 1957 starting from 18...
