After the huge popularity of the WC the WD model had big boots to fill. Featuring an option of a rowcrop or conventional wide axle (standard tread) the WD was in production for only 6 years.
Tractor Serial number on top of left differential brake housing before being replaced with the Model WD45.

The WD serial number is stamped into the rear of the transmission case on the left side, the engine number located on left side of engine near carburettor.
